Linepipe

Linepipe Steel Tubes Are Mainly Used For The Transport Of Oil And Gas And Have Standardised Production Standards.

Within This Standard, There Are Two Grades, PSL 1 And PSL 2. The PSL 2 Production Grade Is More Stringent.

Generally, a Line Pipe Less Than 2 Inches In Diameter Can Be Selected With Bevelled Or Plain Ends, But Line Pipe Greater Than 2 Inches In Diameter Must Be Bevelled To Facilitate Subsequent Butt Welding Of The Pipe.

Balingsteel Supplies Large Quantities Of Sch 40 And Sch 80 Steel Pipe.

Coating Solution for Linepipe

Pipeline Steel Usually Has Internal and External Anti-Corrosion Requirements, Generally Epoxy Resin Anti-Corrosion, 3LPE Anti-Corrosion, 3LPP Anti-Corrosion.

External Coating

External Coating

External Coatings Provide Excellent Corrosion Resistance, Chemical Resistance, and Other Protection to Pipe Surfaces, Metal Structures, etc.., Which Can Greatly Extend the Service Life of Pipes.

Balingsteel Offers a Wide Range of External Coating Solutions Such as FBE, 3LPE, 3LPP, 3PE, PU, Etc.

To Protect Your Materials from Corrosion.

Internal Coating

Internal Coating

Internal Coatings Allow Pipes to Be Installed and Operated in a Way That Reduces Surface Roughness, Improves Efficiency, And Maintains the Purity of the Fluid Being Conveyed. The Main Internal Corrosion Protection Are FBE and Cement Mortar Anti-Corrosion.

Our Coatings Come from the World’s Leading Coating Companies and Utilize Advanced Processes to Ensure That Every Internal Surface Is Protected.

a The pipe end includes a length of 100 mm (4.0 in.) at each of the pipe extremities.

b For SMLS pipe, the tolerances apply for t ≤ 25.0 mm (0.984 in.), and the tolerances for thicker pipe shall be as agreed.

c For expanded pipe with D ≥ 219.1 mm (8.625 in.) and for nonexpanded pipe, the diameter tolerance and the out-of-roundness tolerance may be determined using the calculated inside diameter (the specified outside diameter minus two times the specified wall thickness) or measured inside diameter rather than the specified outside diameter (see 10.2.8.3).

d For determining compliance to diameter tolerances, the pipe diameter is defined as the circumference of the pipe in any circumferential plane divided by pi (π).

a If the purchase order specifies a minus tolerance for wall thickness smaller than the applicable value given in this table, the plus tolerance for wall thickness shall be increased by an amount sufficient to maintain the applicable tolerance range.

b For pipe with D ≥ 355.6 mm (14.000 in.) and t ≥ 25.0 mm (0.984 in.), the wall thickness tolerance locally may exceed the plus tolerance for wall thickness by an additional 0.05t, provided that the plus tolerance for mass (see 9.14) is not exceeded.

c The plus tolerance for wall thickness does not apply to the weld area.

d See 9.13.2 for additional restrictions.

What Is the Difference Between PSL 1 and PSL 2?

PSL 1 and PSL 2 Are Two Different Grades Within the API Standard, With PSL 2 Having More Testing Requirements, And PSL 2 Piping Being Weighed, So Wall Thickness Control Is More Uniform and Stringent.

What Is the Difference Between Linepipe And OCTG?

OCTG Caliber Wall Thickness and Linepipe Are Not the Same, OCTG According to the Inch Caliber Calculation, Linepipe Follows ANSI B36.10M and ANSI B36.19M Table Standards.

What Are the End Finishes for Pipeline?

We Have Belled End,Plain End,Coupling,Flanged End and Threaded End.
