The UOE Molding Method Is to Press the Raw Material into a U-Shape, Then into an O-Shape, And Finally to Perform Internal and External Submerged Welding.

JCOE LASW Pipe Processing
The JCOE Molding Method Is More Complicated Than the UOE Molding Method, In Which the Raw Materials Are Welded Separately from the J-Type to the C-Type and Finally to the O-Type.
JCOE Forming Steel Pipe Has a Larger Caliber and Thicker Thickness. Balingsteel Can Produce Ultra-Thick Steel Pipe over 100mm.

Manufacturing Flow Chart
1. Plate Inspection: After the Steel Plate Used for Manufacturing Large Diameter Submerged Arc Welded Lsaw Steel Pipe Enters the Production Line, The Whole Plate Is Firstly Subject to Ultrasonic Inspection;
2. Edge Milling: The Two Edges of the Steel Plate Are Milled on Both Sides by the Edge Milling Machine, To Achieve the Required Width, Parallelism of the Plate Edges and the Shape of the Bevel;
3. Pre-Bending: Pre-Bending the Plate Edges with a Pre-Bending Machine to Make the Plate Edges Have Curvature as Required;
4. Forming: In the Jco Molding Machine or Uo Molding Machine, First Half of the Pre-Bent Steel Plate Through Several Step Stamping, Pressed into a “j” Shape, And Then the Other Half of the Plate Is Also Bent, Pressed into a “c” Shape, And Finally Formed into an Open “o” Shape
5. Pre-Welding: The Formed Lsaw Steel Pipe Is Joined Together and Continuously Welded by Gas Shielded Welding (Mag);
6. Internal Welding: Vertical Multi-wire Submerged Arc Welding (Up to Four Wires) on the Inside of the Straight Seam Steel Pipe for Welding;
7. External Welding: Using Longitudinal Multi-wire Submerged Arc Welding on the Outside of the Straight Seam Submerged Arc Welded Steel Pipe; 8. Ultrasonic Inspection ⅰ: 100% Inspection of the Internal and External Weld of the Straight Seam Welded Steel Pipe and the Parent Material on Both Sides of the Weld;
9. X-Ray Inspection ⅰ: 100% X-Ray Industrial Television Inspection of the Internal and External Weld Seam, Using an Image Processing System to Ensure the Sensitivity of the Flaw Detection;
10. Expansion: The Full Length of the Submerged Arc Welded Straight Seam Steel Pipe Is Expanded to Improve the Dimensional Accuracy of the Steel Pipe and to Improve the Distribution of Stress in the Steel Pipe;
11. Hydrostatic Test: The Expanded Steel Pipe Is Inspected One by One on the Hydrostatic Testing Machine to Ensure That the Steel Pipe Reaches the Test Pressure Required by the Standard, And the Machine Has the Function of Automatic Recording and Storage;
12. Chamfering: The Inspection of Qualified Steel Pipe End Processing, To Achieve the Required Pipe End Bevel Size;
13 Ultrasonic Inspection ⅱ: Again Root by Root Ultrasonic Inspection to Check the Lsaw Steel Pipe in the Expansion, Hydraulic Pressure May Produce Defects;
14. X-Ray Inspection ⅱ: X-Ray Industrial TV Inspection and Tube End Weld Filming of Steel Pipe After Expansion and Hydrostatic Testing;
15. Magnetic Particle Inspection of Pipe Ends: This Inspection Is Carried out to Detect Defects in Pipe Ends;
16. Storage: Into the Finished Product Warehouse for Proper Storage
Ps: If There Are Special Requirements Such as Anticorrosion and Coating: The Qualified Steel Pipe Will Be Anticorrosive and Coated According to User Requirements.
Different Welding Methods for ERW and LSAW.
LSAW Pipe Is Welded by Double-Sided Submerged Welding, Which Is Filled with Other Materials to Weld the Weld Seam. The Chemical Composition and Mechanical Properties of the Weld May Be Slightly Different from the Pipe Body.
ERW Steel Pipe Is High-Frequency Resistance Welding, The Weld Seam and the Pipe Body Maintain the Same Material.
LSAW and SSSAW Have Different Welding and Molding Methods.

SSAW Pipe Is Formed by Spiral Welding.
